The DISCIPLINA team is happy to inform you that the Alpha-version has been released! It is a functionally limited but ready-to-use test network for the DISCIPLINA blockchain. The source code is available on GitHub.
The Alpha-version currently includes the following apps:
- Faucet — an instrument that allows access to a fixed amount of free DSCP tokens to facilitate transactions within the DISCIPLINA alpha blockchain, and allows to create a paper wallet for their storage. It will allow to make transactions using the paper wallet data, for example, through Ariadne.
- Ariadne — a simple yet effective wallet, which allows a user to track their balance within the DISCIPLINA alpha blockchain, send and receive test DSCP tokens, and backup and restore wallet data.
- Block Explorer — an instrument that allows to find and track blocks of the DISCIPLINA network in real time, as well as to view their contents and the technical information on the transactions within it.
At the end of September, we are planning to add two more applications to the Alpha-version functionality: the Student app and the Educator app. These will help teachers and students interact with the DISCIPLINA blockchain.
The Student app will allow users to view their academic history and achievements, and download a Fair CV container to later provide it to recruiters. The app will interact with DISCIPLINA via an open-source Node-API that will allow to develop a Student app fork or implement its functionality in already existing educational apps.
The Educator app will allow to transfer all the information on courses, educational programmes, students, their academic history and achievement to the DISCIPLINA blockchain. The app will also exchange data with DISCIPLINA via an open-source Node-API that will allow to develop an Educator app fork or implement its functionality in already existing educational apps.
