DISCIPLINA FAQ. Part 3
What problems does DISCIPLINA solve, and how exactly does it do so?
Educational institutions today store lots of data on their students, while recruiting agencies struggle to find candidates with particular skills. Students have to go through lots of interviews and procedures aimed at verifying their skills in order to get their dream job. DISCIPLINA creates a unique ecosystem that makes it possible for educational institutions, students and recruiters to easily share data about students’ achievements throughout their lives that is 100% verified. We harness blockchain technology in order to guarantee the validity of the data and fairness of data disclosure, and make use of a web of trust to make ratings in a completely decentralized environment a reality.
How is the idea monetized? How can token holders profit from this?
DISCIPLINA is an open-source blockchain that can be used by anyone according to their needs. We provide the technology, while monetization comes from applying it. For example, TeachMePlease is an educational platform that will use DISCIPLINA as a ledger of achievements. It will be monetized through fees from selling courses. We expect other platforms that use our technology to appear, with different monetization schemes. The DISCIPLINA token supply is fixed. Therefore, by increasing adoption, we increase the demand for our coin. Moreover, coin holders can participate in our Proof-of-Stake minting process and earn tokens for supporting the network in proportion to their stake.
Is DISCIPLINA a unique platform or does it have any analogues?
DISCIPLINA project aims at providing both the privacy and the verifiability of the data. There is no existing platform upon which we can build such a system (neither Ethereum nor Hyperledger suit its requirements properly). That is why we are developing our own unique blockchain architecture.
